repair panel for rusty door
The lower doors of my '91 4x4 Pickup are rusting away. Haven't had any luck finding repair panels thru the usual sources. Anyone know of a source?

Had the same problem with my 90 Runner, Could'nt find a thing so I just replaced the full door, (both rear) they only cost me $150 each so I feel they were worth the price.

I had a similar issue with crunched door. I did the same thing as grams72 and found a door shell for about $160. This was a new shell from a body parts place. I had to shop around a little but it wasn't hard to find.

Ya, I've seen the door shells and thought about junkyard doors but 90% of the door is good. Would be SO much easier to just weld in a patch panel. IF I could find one.

Call up a local shop that specializes in Auto paint and supplies. Back when I was gonna rebuild my 1st gen, nobody could get me patch panels. I finally went to this paint place here in Ohio and after some begging the guy pulled out some books and produced (the info for ordering and specs on) more repair/patch and full body parts than I have ever seen. Never did get around to re-doing that truck though, had a kid instead and priorities shifted big time!
I know you have a 2nd gen, I just figured if they had 1st gen....
If your local search fails:
Painters Supply and Equipment 419.475.1511
