05 Yota Taco Tech

New here so...

Looking for other 05 Taco owners out there to trade intel with!

My old rides:
79 'Yota Hilux 20R, 88 'Runner SR5 22RE, 02 Taco Pre Runner 2.7, 03 Taco X-Tra cab 4WD TRD 3.4

My new ride:
2005 Tacoma D-cab 4WD 4.0 V6 slushbox TRD Off Road Package #2 (OG) Silver Streak Mica

New Mods: Alpine Type S speakers all around
Toyota bugflector, all weather mats, bed mat

Future Mods: Waiting for a decent lift to come out and of course, an ARB front locker

Woohoo, finally someone in the same boat as me!! Well, actually I'm sure there are a few of us. I have the same truck as you I think...a Silver Double Cab 4x4 TRD Offroad. What a fantastic truck huh!!

So far in my 500 miles I have the front skid plate from Toyota, and have installed the color keyed door handles (an absolute must IMHO), ordered color keyed mirrors, and I'm looking at maybe settling for the Revtek kit until a real kit comes out. Oh, and the dealer threw in the reciever hitch cover (toyota emblem) and a Taco lisc. plate frame. HID's also on the way.

I just picked up a Black 05 Double cab Pre-runner a month ago. wish it was 4x4, but still lovin it.
