03 V8 Supercharged
I know there have been threads on this before, but i wanted to see if anyone has actually put one on yet..i was curious about the gains and overall performance. Also...if it is put on...is there any damage done by the supercharger over time to the engine? I guess this is for the people who either have them or know a lot more about them then me...the V8 has power but i am never satisfied...lol...always want more
Any thoughts are appreciated...thanks

I'm new here and have not heard of anyone doing this yet. A supercharger if properly installed and tuned will not hurt your engine. Depending on the engine you will only be able to run a certain amount of boost. Go beyond the safe limits and you are looking for certain trouble. High compression engines can not take a lot of boost, maybe 6psi at the most. You would definitely get more horsepower and more importantly torque but it won't be as much as if you have a few flowing exhaust and intake to go with it. Given time the aftermarket will catch up to the 4 generation 4Runners and you will see more preformance items especially with the V8s.
