’03 Cargo Spider Net Retro to ’02?

’03 Cargo Spider Net Retro to ’02?
I just bought the ’03 cargo spider net for my ’02, thinking it would be an easy 4-point fit on the D-rings. The spider net has 2 clips in the rear that attach to D-rings, so that part is fine, BUT the front part has 4 attachment loops that are suppose to attach to 4 buttons.
What I want to know is: Has anyone found some sort of mushroom type button that can attach using screws through the center of the mushroom/ button and into the existing holes (I think there are 6 holes) of the trim piece across the back.
Come to think of it. I haven't even checked to see if locating buttons on that trim piece would interfere with the closing of the tailgate.
Any ideas?
