01' 4Runner - Thumping when cold
Hello all- New in this forum, so if this has already been asked, apologies! I have a 2001 4Runner SR5 4WD that has this rapid thumping/vibration sound coming from it. It only happens when:
-The engine/outside temp is cold
-I step on the gas while in "D" (if i put in in neutral and rev it, everything is fine)
-The sound increases as the RPM's increase, but seems to dissappear after the engine is warmed up
-I can feel the thumping - drivers side- front of car, feels like its where my feet are located
Thoughts?
