01 4runner brake leakage

Greetings, I am hoping that the members of this forum can shed some light on an issue I am having with my 2001 4runner (75k mi) , and maybe help out some others with the same problem. The braking system has developed a leak at the master cylinder / abs unit (shown here):

The dealer has quoted me $2100 for the replacement part alone!! Also, he stated that there is no rebuild kit available..
My question is: is there any possible workaround for this problem such as swapping in a alternate (Tacoma?) master cylinder (even if it means giving up the ABS), or is there someone that rebuilds these units?
Many thanks for any help.

BWB

Junkyard. Send a PM to Deathcougar here on YT.

Your truck has ABS and ATRAC, I don't believe the Tacomas came with ATRAC, but then I could be wrong about that.
