My first of many questions is, how do I fix these spots where I have ground out the rust out of ? Bondo, fiber-glass or some other filler type material.
The rust is not as bad as I had previously thought it to be, which is a good thing. Thanks

Body filler will not last as the rust will eventually separate it from the metal. You could grind it all out and if you manage to remove all of it, ALL of it, and use a fiber filler like tiger hair, you may get it to last a while.

the only way to get it right is to cut it out and replace the metal.
