westjohns 86 "built" up thread
well normally i hate buying something that is already built but i made an exception since it was a friends of mine in which i helped build, it started off as an long bed sr5, 111k miles, ifs truck, 22re, all the good stuff, we threw a cheapo soild axle swap under it. cheap you mean? yes cheap. front spring hanger from an 82, and rear leaf spring hangers for the back front leaf springs, held so far, after all this he decided he wanted 5.29s and detroits, he bought 2 prebuilt units from lorange offroad, upgraded the birfs to long feilds, and did a knukle service, then added onboard air and 36 super swampers, this things absolutely rust free, currently sitting at 124k miles, everything works, picked it up for 5800, bit of a coin but rust free trucks on the coast are increasingly hard to come by, espically in this hape and low miles, future plans for it are redo the SAS with a wabfab front spring hanger and possibly redo the back, also a marlin HD clutch as the clutch is a little sot but itll do, so without further ado, my 4th toy offically.... maybe ill keep this one he also through the mile marker 12000 winch in with t, i think i didnt do too bad.

got a question guys, it doesnt have hysteer but my buddy said it was crossover steering, ive never heard of this, pics tommorow, anybody have any ideas? can u tell from the one pic i have?

Looks like a typical under spring steering link. Hysteer will mount above the springs and give the pitman arm link a flatter angle which helps with bumpsteer.
