Man that plug looks bad, original or not. I believe I'd pull one of your new ones in a couple months and make sure it doesn't look like that.

That plug had over 200k on it. I know it had more, but I don't know when the speedometer and odometer stopped working.

Mine.

My bushings on the shifter. The one on the left was the end of the shifter. It was in two pieces. Good thing I looked inside the transmission.

The one on the left, well. Only the seal was left. The rest of the bushing was gone. It should have looked like the green one in the next picture.



New

Still won't stay in 5th gear
