brian- you could make this look like a service vehicle. that way, you could probably get away with parking wherever you wanted ... stuff like a serial number in the corner, brush guard, small antenna, "how's my driving" sticker (with fake number), amber light bar on top, etc...

I had this strange surging temp, when the temp would first hit normal operating temp from a cold start, i'd get this surge of heat and the temp gauge would go to 3/4, stay there for about a minute, minute and a half then drop back to normal. Now way im having that! I got a good thermostat from Toyota and dropped her in today, temp problem fixed!

Thinking about a rear locker. I have heard they make driving on ice and snow very difficult and downright dangerous. Why is this? Is it because the axle locks together, thus both wheels are spinning and neither is getting traction causing the truck to slide down/across the hill, or am I completely wrong?
This is the primary reason I have been afraid to put one in Ol' Yeller.
Opinions?

my experience in snow/ice with my locker. the rear end of the truck is extremely slippery. its takes some getting used to, but its do able... just dont put an automatic in the front if you plan on driving in the snow.
