No guarantee on the motor but I trust the guy (maybe that's a mistake?)...

I'm looking at $650 for the motor + $600 to have them install it for me for a total of $1250. Still hammering out the details.

Yeah Mark I just don't have the time/space/skills required to do this swap. I have 2 jobs and last week alone I worked 7 days for a total of 86 hours...

I really wish I had more time. Come summer i'll only have 1 job and that will free up a lot of time.

1200 installed, considering it's in tact, ready to go for 100K+????? FINE deal, man... no doubt. Just make sure they check all those 'problem vacuum ports', etc., etc., while putting it in. Heck, you could have yours out and do a full stroker rebuild over the summer in your spare time! hahaha... not a bad way to learn, right? lol.

enjoy it, ...when they doing it?

$600 is way too much for a few bolts and plugs.

-engine to trans
-wires plugged in
-throttle cable
-exhaust
-water lines
-accessories

that's it, really.

haha yeah not a bad idea. I think I may just buy a cam and throw it in the new engine.

About when they are doing it, we are still working that out but it should be soon like no later than March.

If they're pulling his, too?? .... Pretty standard/minus a few bux. But sure, you could find someone(a traveling mechanic who's looking for work) to do it for around 400$. Wish I was closer... I'd have him give me 300$ and I'd do a few extras to boot! hahaha. JK, I'd help you slap it in, Brian.... I know you'd pay it forward.

Question is, how long would it take you to make $600?

I'm thinking RB's place. He has more space/tools and what a way to break in a new engine than driving to Maryland!

Yeah, boooooooey! lol.

Now, 600$ = GOOD BBQ Dinner and Beer for you and Ian/RBX /// www.roundeyes.com kit /// A-hole lights for the rear of the basket /// Battery and isolator for an "RBX spare Tire Delete Deluxe Box for dual batteries AND THEN SOME KIT!" WOOT, lol /// rear custom bumper /// Plus some leftover for MORE BEER! hahaha. (Actually, I don't drink, so I'd be happy with some Beef Ribs and Hansens Cola! hahaha)

the only thing we'd really need to buy would be an engine hoist. any smaller specialty tool we could rent from the parts store

brian, i'm definitely in if we do it over a weekend
