Yesterday was a day to finish up a couple loose ends.

- Bleed brakes
- Reinstall bed
- Adjust pinion angle with bed and bumper installed

I had to drive the truck down to my shop (only a short drive) because i do not have a welder at my house.

- Install front shock hoops
- Install upper rear shock mount
- Burn in rear axle spring perches
- Fab up some new brake line mounts

Still left to do

I thought I lost a bunch of pictures, but i managed to dig them up of the swap.

Current status:
- Front shock hoops installed
- Front shocks installed
- Rear upper shock mount fabbed and mounted
- Rear shocks installed
- Brake line mounts finished (Still need to install springs to keep them out of the tires)
- All welding is complete for now

I have been driving the truck around town a little bit the last couple days and it is just about ready for a test run off-road to see what it will do.

I need to get some shorter shocks or come up with a new rear shock mount because the shocks are currently limiting the flex in the front. As of right now I only have about 4" of down travel with the shocks. When I get that worked out I should be able to get another 6" or so out of the front end.

I am really happy with the front end flexing, and once i get the rear figured out we should be good to go.

I still need to install the bump stops maybe ill get that done this week.

I also found a freshly rebuilt front drive shaft out of an 85 pickup that I am going to get tomorrow afternoon.

more pics to come.

3- Front Lights
4- Rear Lights
5- CB/ Radio/ Interior Misc.
6- Not Use Yet

I need to still play around with the fitment a bit, but it is close.
That's really cool, looks awesome, this is what I'm wanting to do in the future.

Great build thread. Your truck is looking good.

It was just a starting idea, I need to add 2 more LED's for each locker switch (locking, unlocking, and locked LED's) and it will be powercoated and cnc etched when it is done. I also need to play with the fitment a little more, but its coming alont

thanks for the compliment,

As far as the axle being forward, it is about 1-2" further than normal. The point of this is the axle actually moves back as it travels up due to the shackle being in the rear of the spring. This also allows me to run larger tires and I can trim the bumper and front of the fender vs cutting the the rear fender and firewall which can be a PITA if you have to relocate all your electrical and ECU(on the passenger side).

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Well i think i found a rear e-locker with 4.30 gears. I am going to take a look at it tomorrow on my way down to work, and if all goes as planned I will be good to go on the front and rear locker.

I decided now was the time to redo my switch panel and get my e-locker wiring going.

I didn't like the spacing and mount of the last switch plate I made so i decided to redo it.

Marking up the aluminum.
