How much of a pain are those dual cases going to be when you get around to the crossmembers?

I bent a piece of tube tonight. I also took some measurements for a fuel cell. I wonder how much that is gonna cost me.

Just a little crossbar...I still need to cut that piece of BIG steel out and put in a tube x-member

I'm going to tie it in to the piece above it with some smaller diameter tubing.

I'm going to mount the gas tank here above the upper link...(It'll be bumpstopped and guarded from the link)

I've got to cut some engine mounts off of another frame and I'm using the bendtech software to design and build the interior cage.

I'm going to cut them off in the morning. Tonight I built a "mocked fuel cell" tonight. I also took dimensions on my cage.

I can't wait until January, my insurance will take effect and I'll be able to go to the doctor and have the pain in my gut fixed (March is no longer a goal: I figure I'll be out of the shop for at least 2-3 weeks for surgery )

It sucks cause I'm not supposed to pick up heavy stuff, so wtf am I gonna do, everything on this damn truck is heavy.

ah man, hope you feel better, WTF is right. I will keep checking on this thread. Can you give me any insights on a decent front bumper to support a winch. I've looked around and I know that ARB offers one, but who sells them? Hope you feel better man,

Thos coil overs are HUGE. I'm sure that they are going to let the rear of your rig do what is was supposed to do and flex like their is no tomorrow.

Great build, I just subscribed. Most of the stuff you are doing is stuff I will never do but I love seeing done. I did get some good ideas of your build so far and may steal one or two of them.

Now you have to tell us how you get $1500 worth of tires for $400 I would like to sign up for those discounts.

Just wondering about your tube sizes? I am getting ready to build a front and rear bumper tied together with a small exo. Also got roll cage, a pre build kit for the front that I want to use as a start for a complete cage.

What size tubes do you recomend? DOM or HERW? Ifigured I would use DOM around the bottom parts and HERW around the other areas.

Anyway take care of yourself and keep us posted on your progress, I can't wait to see those huge ass shocks mounted up.

Anything else???? I still have room on my Santa list

All I am asking for is a 5" full suspension set up with Tom woods drive shafts and a D shaft brake.

Of course if Santa really wanted to spoil me I would just ask for your truck................Once it is done of course

I built everything on mine from DOM...just b/c I don't want to worry about it for along time...1 1/2 or 1 3/4 works well for cages...I'd do an interior cage and I'd tie the front and rear bumpers into the sliders. I'm not big on exo's
The tires....I won them at Harlan,KY during the camp and crawl from Pirate.
