I just spent 2 hours reading this entire writeup. Love the truck, i really like your work, takin the time and doin everything right. When are you goin to be done? I live on the outerbanks NC we should get up and wheel sometime would be fun.

Bringin this thread back from the dead! I just wanted to let y'all know that I have stopped working on this truck I know, I know...but I have moved on to bigger and better things. I'm getting ready to start on a new full tube chassis...6.0L, 4L80, Atlas, tons etc
But I am selling off some of the truck..I have the chassis and the cab and a low mileage 3rz here ..If you are interested in some of it...let me know.

Holy hell has it been a long time since I subscribed to this thread. Hate to hear you're selling off some of the stuff, but hopefully the next project will be just as awesome. Looks like you did quite a bit to this baby.

Really cool man. I am Currently looking at fj80 axles for my gen 2 extended cab and maybe you can help me out. I cant seem to find a clear cut solution to the offset rear axle. Are you running the land cruiser t-case?
