hey guys! This is John, Bill's (RMP8080) son. Im the one you see from time to time welding on my father's trucks.
Well, I wish I was posting on here for a lighter note. My father has recently passed away in late october. I know he was a very avid "poster" on this forum and he loved his projects. Unfortunately, now I have his projects stacked on top of mine, an 86 K5 Blazer (full resto/mod) and an 87 Vw Golf (full resto as well)
I will be continuing the build up of both of his toyotas (the 87 pickup and 89 runner). Hopefully here soon, I will be posting up some updates to the trucks.
Thanks guys!

OMG.... no...... John im so sorry to hear about your father. He was such a cool guy. Very innovative/creative man. He gave me some input on a couple of things for my truck too.
I wish your family the best. I'll pray for your dad. Thank you for letting us know.

John...My deepest condolenses. I got to talk to your dad twice on the phone and here on Yotatech, thru the threads and PMs. I really enjoyed knowing him. He was a great guy. Got your family in thoughts and prayers. I had to read your post a few times to make sure I understood it right. Still shocked. So sorry for your loss.

Oh wow! I'm so sorry, John... What a terrible, yet inevitable thing... Losing our parents. MAN I LOVED to razz back and forth with your pops! Bill was a VERY helpful dude, always kind to me and often shooting me PM's to lift me up through the 'end of life times' with my own Stepfather... whom I cared for for many years(the last 2 of which were REALLY bad)...
I knew he was having some issues... and in his funny way, recently, he'd said, "LOVING THE MEDS!.. but the pain sucks!" ... But this REALLY shocked me. MANNNNN, once again, I'm so sorry, John! But, ... I must say, ... you REALLY seem to have his positive 'go get em' attitude! CAN'T WAIT to see what's next... Keep ole Bill Alive on these threads, ... right on!
You and yours are in my prayers, John... Best wishes for the Holidays... It's tough, I know very well.
