Discovered I need to learn to drive a clutch in the sand. Didn't get stuck, but wasn't very confident.

I'm looking forward to you finishing also. There are a few things I need to do still, one being a 'stop' to catch the tire from touching the rear light lens.

Looks good RBX. What size tires are those BTW I forget. I like the pinstripe on the wheels too, I don't think I noticed that before.

Thanks! I'm incorporating a t-pull to keep the arm locked down away from the body when unlatched; sounds like just what you need. My buddy has one on his Wrangler JK, and when I told him what I was planning for the bumper, he showed me the t-pull and how useful it is. Here's the setup on his Jeep:

As the arm swings open the pin rides up the ramp and locks into the hole. Best of all, it's only $10+shipping from Polyperformance!

Perhaps that can help you, but there's more than one way to skin a cat.

Thanks Zelephant, I like that idea alot. I'm going to try to incorporate that or something similar. Gonna try to make it so I don't have to weld or paint..(puts thinking cap on).

Thanks, I wish I had photo skills. These shots look much darker then on my laptop, maybe when I upload them to the image share they are converted somehow.

Great pictures and I'm glad you changed your avatar. I just got an iPhone and when I whip it out to catch a shot I always seem to capture my own stupid face...

Did you hear about this while you were there? MP 7 on July 21. Seven feet long! (Not my pic)
