Hey guys. Just wanted to start my build thread... I just picked up an axle yesterday because I am sick and tired of the IFS setup on my truck. I continue to snap axles, and bend steering components. So here is what I picked up.. I have fabricator friends who are going to help me with the build... Right now, I just have this axle... what do you all recommend doing to the axle first?

strip it down and clean it up, replace bearings, brakes etc. make sure the gears match your rear end. some people like to upgrade the inners and outers now sence you have all the room you need on a bench instead of under the truck on the trail..

 

I'm hoping I'm not too far some doing a sas on my 90 4r. I'll be watching your build.
