I put a chevy v6 in my 88 Toyota and I used the stock radiator for the 22re with a electric fan on it when it runs the temp get lil high then it drops to roughly normal temp for the v6 200 to 215 when the fan kicks on.


will the Toyota v6 radiator fit where the 22re radiator is with no mods or mods


or just spend the money and get a nice radiator for the swap cause the Toyota is about to be drivin more now and the little times I did drive it. it did fine as temp wise but I don't want it to overheat when I do decide to take it mudding or sitting at a stop on a hot day


any ideas much appreciated.

 

a v6 radiator will fit.

i used a csf 3 core all metal v6 radiator when i swapped from the 4 cyl to a 3.4.

 

where can I get that radiator from? and will it hold up to the 4.3l and keep it cool?

 

got mine from davez offroad, slacker (toyota fiberglass)from yotatech did have them.

search e-bay etc you'll find them.

and yes it will keep your rig cool.
