Very nice build thread. Reminds me of me not too long ago. lol

I had a similar case of a Sienna rear ending me in my 87 pickup. I had a Smittybilt rear bumper and like you said, all that was needed was a can of paint. lol In my case he bought me a new radiator and an electric fan! lol

Good luck

Nice. I think you can fit 31's easy without any lift though. I fit 31's with no lift right

now, but I did swap out my rear leafsprings to OME sets. And that Aussie locker works

wonders doesn't it. Now get a front Aussie! lol

If you have manual hubs, you should be fine with a mech locker. If you have ADD, thats

another story. I wouldnt know because I have mannual hubs. :p

On the street, your hubs are/should be in free, so nothing really moves upfront until you

get onto the dirt and lock the hubs in. You will notice the steering wheel feeling stiffer

when you are in 4wd. And you might have to make 4 pt. turns at times. It doesnt really

bother me having a front locker, it makes a stock truck perfrom so much better. I have

friends with lifted F-150s impressed at what my stock Toyota can do. They've got big lifts and tires, yet they dont have gears nor lockers. lol

I will add a quote from the aussie website though ;
:
"We "Do Not" recommend the installation of a locker in the front of a vehicle that will be driven on icy highways in 4WD without manual hubs. Driving on any slick surface requires additional attention to handling so test your Aussie Locker equipped vehicle in open areas under adverse weather conditions before driving on roads. "

TireRack.com ! I bought rims about two months ago, they are posted on page 2 i believe, just a new gen of Toy rims. And I am very excited to get them i know i will be happy!

EDIT to what i said about lifting it, i wont be doing so any more. I will wait till I can afford OldManEmu torsions, shocks, springs and the works.

Yeah i totally thought about it, and forgot they had those! Hahaha that wont be till after: Sliders, Front armor, Skids, and small mods on the way! Such as: shovel and ax mount, gas can mount, and spare tire relocation. Maybe a hi-lift somewhere.

your rig looks like some sort of awesome rally truck. imo, i think it would look good with a light bar on the back or just a barrage of lights in the front. (i tend to daydream a lot)
it looks sweet with the all black wheels and white lettering. i'm gonna have to paint my rims sometime
