piece of sandpaper fell in water gallery

Ok don't laugh but while sanding down the head gasket surface of my 22RTE block a little piece of sandpaper fell into one of water galleries next to cylinder #3. . Does anyone know where these particular water galleries run to? Does it run to the radiator next or to smaller galleries? I tried fishing it out with coat hanger but that didn't work. I have since installed the head.

I was thinking about disconnecting the lower radiator hose and cycle some water through the thermostat opening via a garden hose. maybe even crank over the motor to circulate the water.

Looking for feedback before i do something i shouldn't and force the sandpaper deeper into the engine.

Try using a vacuum to suck it out. I've actually rigged up a 3/8" piece of hose to connect to my shop vac suck stuff out of tight spaces. Works well
