That's awesome Brian, glad she fired up and ran for ya! Wish I could help you out on the driveline, but I don't have any Chevy stuff anymore.

No, I want to, but my parents are coming over from the coast for a visit, so I've been trying to get caught up on my neglected yard, LOL!

Do you have a paint booth or something?

Today

Today I decided to start finish welding the front spring hanger, and re enforcing it.I have been wanting to do this, because it has to be done before I can build my winch mount and bumper.

Plate

After I welded the cross member to the spring hanger I welded a piece of 1/4 thick by 4 inch flat bar over it.On the back It is the same except 3 3 inch pieces.

carried away

So this is pretty early in the day and I got what I wanted done.I had the front of the truck pretty much taken off.Saturday I got the new flowmax exhaust. The Truck has Downey chevy 350 conversion motor mounts.I have always thought these motor mounts really sucked.I also have been kind of envious of my buddy Ed, because if you look at his build thread his frame is extremely clean, where he removed all of the IFS stuff. It hit me.I had to take out the engine.

I ended up getting three of the brackets off the passenger side of the frame. Its going pretty quick.I am dead.I got alot done today. If I do as good tomorrow,I may have it back together Monday.I doubt it.I want this thing all clean and painted,so I may do that.I may also just put the thing together so I can play with it.

Maybe he is just running a 305 till motor blows then gonna do a 350 swap??? Or maybe just a typo?? All yhe body lift is for is to clear the distributor so im not gonna run one in mine plus i absolutely hate body lifts...
