oneIwilly, that truck looks amazing!!
Im 16 and have been building trucks with my dad since I can remember.
When I got my license I went out and bough my first truck, which of course had to be a yota.
Anyways im trying to build it up, but im not to smart with yotas.
I need some help on parts for the lowest dollar and where to get these parts.
Thanks... By the way still love that truck. Looks BITCHEN!!

You need to ask for free stuff. You see an axle sitting on the side of a house, you dont ask what its for, you just say ” can I please have that”.I drive off with more free stuff like that, than you would believe. Also you need to get into a good circle of buddys.Like that x member made for Poncho, well he gave me a radiator and a power steering pump.Thats how we go it.And atay away from tweekers.

Your truck

If you want to build a truck like this one,my best advise is to go find a really rusty dented 76 k5 blazer with a dana 44 up front,a np 205 t case.It should have a solid engine and tranny also.Make sure you get a 44 with flat tops. This rig can be found on craigs list ,around where I live for 500$ all day.Keep the dana 44,engine,trans and t case. This will get you alot of the major parts.Sell everything else.

Yota beast,go search ” road worthy sas” in the fab section of this site.At one point I explain how to narrow the front axle to look like my trucks.

Sas= strait axle swap.Your truck has IFS= independant front suspension. You dont buy stuff from yotatech, you come here for advise on what sucks and what doesnt. Then you go buy what doeant suck from whoever.

Ohh okay. Thank you. Your helping me out a lot.
I found brand new 3' rear leafs on a 1994 ex cab that fits my truck. I got it for free.
But now how do I even the lift out? I heard cranking the t bar is bad for your truck.
Right now im just looking into a nice lift and wheels.(and thinking about sas)
just need to know what to get?

Your rear leaf springs will give you 3 inches up front,if you do a sas .(ruf) rear up front. In,my opinion there isnt a good way to lift a ifs truck.
