Quick mod of the day ($4 and 10 minutes of work):

A shovel mount

Used two u bolts. One up front that is solid mounted for the handle to slide through. Then one like the one above!

At school today i snapped this picture. am i the only one that gets enjoyment from simply looking at my own truck? ha

haha mine is the second coolest...
My buddies truck is a 84 scottsdale that is completely redone. Dark blue with a neon orange frame. Sitting on 37" swampers. It has a 383 sm with aluminum angle plug heads, air gap intake, and a massive holley in it. But its not in the picture... haha

Got home from the badlands just a little bit ago. im working on editing all of the video of the day. ill get some pics up soon! haha

It did pretty good for stock suspension and no lockers... there are a few limits... I was really impressed with the truck on the rocks. But today was the first time i really got to try my hand at them. Im used to weaving through trees and bombing mud holes! ha
But i love bein on the rocks!! It is so much fun! ha

Yeah i know it! I want a dark yellow. But that won't be until at least the middle of the summer. I have to replace all the ball joints and tie rods. Then do the front breaks including calipers. ha the truck has been neglected of a lot of basic maintenance...

So... I had a very interesting night...
I was invited to a friends house to play around with his fourwheelers in his back field. I drove my truck back there and drove through some mud holes and around some trails. Just having a little fun. Then after showing off a little by drifting circles around my friends truck i parked it and rode a quad around. The other quad we had out there got stuck. So i offered to pull him out with my truck. (it was stuck BAD). I drove around to the hole and go to shift it into reverse... And the welds on the shifter extension broke. So my shifter was completely useless sitting inside the boot. Everybody hears me yell a few choice words and run over to the truck to see what is going on. By the time they get there i already had the shifter boot completely off and the bottom piece of the shifter almost out. lol
Thank god my friends dad had just bought a welder 4 days ago. So we were able to patch it together (very poorly) enough for me to get home. So now the angle isn't right on it. I had to drive 5 miles home with the truck in 4hi so i could shift into fourth.
I didn't even bother putting the boot or shift knobs back on. ha i'll deal with it after i get off work tomorrow...

Truck is fixed!

sort of... haha
First gear is now where neutral used to be. And second is almost in the seat...
But now it doesn't hit the t-case shifter in reverse. So i will get used to it. haha
