JShaffer0525,
that diff armor is from Marlin's it's 1/4" thick and shaved drain plug with a 1/4"plating over the bottom, my rear armor is a weld on pipe cap .375 thick and I will be plating and shaving it as well...dont like rock damage!
front drive shaft is a CV with .120 tube
There is nothing more that I can do to the front diff other then ARP hub studs and drilling for extra pins and Long's 5th studs to the arms and all of that is on my list then I am on to the rear, full float, pins and ARP studs...

Well, I left my phone at home and missed Cougar's call (sorry), but I did get my front hanger done today.

These aren't actually the finished product pics. The longer angle is left open, but the front is now closed in with 1/4" plate. I used 3.5"x3.5"x 1/4" tubing for the ends, and cut a 10" section at a 45 degree angle in the middle. I drilled the holes just a bit forward and below center. The cross member is 2x3x1/4" tubing. It is a bit heavier than the TrailGear one that I got with the IFS eliminator kit, but it is WAY stronger, and provides front impact protection for the spring, and more importantly the mounting bolt. The nut for the bolt is welded in to the hanger ends and the cross member, and is covered with 1 1/2"x 1 1/2"x 1/4" tubing that we made some gussets out of.

Awesome! Looks very stout MC.
Did you hear the 4WP guys are heading up Beasore tomorrow? I would be tagging along, but instead I get to work... Anyhow, I'm thinking of playing in the snow Wednesday or Thursday. Will you be free?

Twisted: Yeah, I'll try to remember to measure it tomorrow. I think the crossmember was about 27" long.
Dbcfr, Datsayota and I went to play in the cold white stuff today. It was sort of a shakedown run for Dbcfr's SAS and Datsayota's new bracket lift, as well as what I hope is a final farewell for my IFS. Not much to talk about. We had a good time. Nothing broke. There was a little tugging for just about everyone. I need to finish my OBA. The parts are there, the time is not. Pics (many courtesy of Mrs Datsayota):

For the record, HE is stuck. I am pulling him out.
