to be honest...I don't know what to say. The new front suspension looks good... but then I saw everything else o_O

I mean, I know you gotta spend big bucks to work on trucks (you can quote me on that rhyme lol) but lift blocks and that suspension setup looks pretty el cheapo to me. And those sliders...looks like you ran out of metal and just wanted to finish with whatever scrap you had left. Same with that front bumper.

I mean props for doing it yourself but I dunno if I'd trust it on the trails... o_O

I think fillsrunner4 tried his rear shocks kind of like that /\ but found he had way too much body roll and the shocks wouldnt do much at that kind of angle anyway.

I'd find a way to keep them a bit more vertical.

I'm going to do something similar when I build my winch bumper, keeping the stock outer/signal lights/corners.

Keep it up, as long as your OK with it that's all that matters.

I'm going to do something similar when I build my winch bumper, keeping the stock outer/signal lights/corners. Kind of a cross between yours and TOYOTA1's, using 1/4" thick 3"x3" angle, 5/8 thick 12" wide plate and 1/4" thick 2"x2" square.

Maybe its just me but it looks like that bumper will fold up on itself if there was a strong gust of wind.

is the point of this "bumper" just for holding some lights?......

it seems like the processes of building it is driven by flying by the seat of your pants.....

I think after a while of looking at it your going to want to redo it, perhaps using some material that is MUCH stronger than half inch square tubing.

For what its worth I think the bumper looks good. Could use some more reinforcement on the stinger part of it, but looks great otherwise.

If you post it, you WILL get opinions on it.

Personally, I think its about the ugliest most pointless thing I've seen that someone might call a "bumper"........ I think I could jump kick it and bend/break it, and there's no way it would support the weight of the truck in any way, form or fashion (goes for the "sliders" too).

But to each his own. Some guys like 16 guage 1" square tubing........ I used it one time for a roof rack, and didn't even think it was anywhere near beefy enough for that.
