i checked it out, but its 8 hours away. and i dont have 9600 to spend on it. lol

Im going through some life changing issues right now. and im not actually looking to spend some money right now. I actually have been staying away from craigslist and what not just to refrain from spending cash.

Ill get another toyota someday, just not now

haha its actually been a year almost! think i sold the 4Runner in june? I bought the 67 mustang in may... cant believe its been a year already...

I REALLY want a double cab 01-04 tacoma or a 4th gen v8 4Runner, but those trucks are breaded and im not sure i want to beat on such a vehicle.

I've actually really been considering buying a 95-97 powerstroke f-250 or f-350 ( MUST BE SHORT BED, and atleast an ext cab. If i could score a crew cab, short bed, 5 speed, that'd be perfect ) as a daily driver and picking up an 86-95 22re single cab 5 speed truck and making it a designated street legal trail rig. I'd even considering a 95+ single cab tacoma 5vz or 3rz as well, if the price was right. I want a NICE dd that im not going to mod... so I think i might roll with this combination because I could sell the Roush and easily afford both of these vehicles and just bite the bullet on paying Registration and insurance on 3 vehicles. but it wouldn't be too bad because the f250 or f350 would be smog exempt, along with the 67. so its only expenses would be insurance, and reg. But I can register both the 67 and the trail rig as vehicles that are driven less than 8k a year.

If you do end up getting a powerstroke, get a F250 if you have a choice. Theyll kill you on registration for the F350. I've always loved those 7.3's.

I'm still rooting for a 3rd gen 4runner!

explain why the registration would be any different between the 250 and the 350? strictly because its solid axle swapped and a heavier duty model?

I want a truck so bad, you've no idea. I feel like if i did the 3rd gen, i'd still have the same urge to have a bed. :/

Simply because of the name itself. California figures it more of a heavy duty vehicle, and think it creates more wear and tear on the roads. That makes them charge you more for registration every year, even though it probably doesn't create anymore wear than a F250, or any of our rigs on here. Stupid California lol. My buddy with his 98 Dodge 3500 pays $550 a year for registration, my other friend with his 01 Dodge 2500 pays $350. Pretty stupid.

I know what you mean about having a bed. Hurry up and get a rig of any sort, I'll only be around for another 4 months!

a f250 weighs the same exact same as an f350, short of the solid axle... -_-... haha

It'll have a straight axle. Some of them had the twin I-beam setup but none had IFS.

I'm going into the park ranger academy, it starts in August in northern Colorado.

Did you get another Toyota?

Is your Mustang done? I'd like to see a photo of it especially if it is.

Couple updates:

I got another yota ( I've owned it for a year or so now, so I've already added a few touches of my own to it ):

As far as Mustangs go. the 1967 has been sitting in my warehouse for some time now. Motor and transmission is out of it to have the shock tower fixed, reinforced, motor rebuilt and have a 5 speed put back in it. but its been on the back burner lately, since I've had a few more priorities than fixing the classic. So it just sits.

But I do still have the Roush:

And it took you this long to tell us...?

Seriously, that's a cool rig. Can you give us a rundown of the specs and mods?
