Hello All,
I am trying to get a 4 runner (1990 4 runner 4x4 3.0L 5 speed) VIN JT3VN39W6L0028698 running with my nephew. Short story, his dad passed away and this was his truck and he wants a project and to get it running so i am helping him.

With that, we have dropped the tank and everything needs to be replaced from it setting. It was solid rust inside the tank. however i checked all the fuel lines up to the pressure regulator and all that seems clear and fine. I just think that there was hardly any fuel in the tank for 15 years sitting, that moisture in the tank just had a grand old time.

With that, I know the following needs to be replaced.
Tank,
fuel pump
Sending unit
Fuel Pump Bracket
Vent line Housing?
gaskets for all.
Researching parts for this is a little confusing since it looks like new tanks that the filler neck is apart of the tank, instead of bolted on like the orginal.
Has any one replaced all these components? If so all from same seller? OEM, Aftermarket? Also trying to figure out what fuel tank it needs is confusing since they say they fit VIN RN120. there is absolutely nothing in my VIN with that combination, even with 2WD, vs 4WD. I am curious if the difference between 14 gallon and 17 gallon is different measurement between US and Europe. Please see links describing this

Trust you got this sorted out by now.
I have a 95 (identical tank to 94 too). I just ended up buying a replacement. But for life of me can not find my purchase email.
Seems I got basically a JC Whitney probably. didn't think I spent $200 tho. Might be wrong.
