Thanks! I'll keep everyone updated on the radiator every 6 months. Got to go buy some of that instant weld stuff to keep on hand in the truck in case it springs a leak when i'm out camping or fishing.

Is that a single or dual row radiator? Does it cool well? I've been looking at going aluminum as well

It's a dual row, I don't know if it cools any better, but everything I've read said a dual row aluminum is much cooler than a copper dual row. My temp gauge seems to be just a tad lower than before, but I know that doesn't mean much as they all seem to sit in the middle somewhere.

As a good general rule of thumb for me that works, is when the gauge sits at the halfway mark, it just needs a good cleaning. Once it is cleaned, I usually have them sitting just below the halfway mark.

Congratulations!!! It is always nice hitting the next big number. I eventually want to put a million miles on some truck. Just a personal goal of mine. We have an extended cab in town (what is left of it, rust) that has 750k miles on it.

Buddy.... Would you be able to drop by anytime in the near future? I might need a hand, or I should say a second set of hands. The 3.0 and especially in an automatic, is a little bit Greek to me. I've gone pretty far pretty fast, but I'm thinking that I will likely need help disconnecting the gas tank. Anyway, if not that's cool, just send me a text? Whenever you have time man, I'll probably still be on the harness all day tomorrow.

Ah crap, just saw your post Mark....I was gone all day anyhow putting up a shed in my mom's backyard and now making her a wooden rack to put things on inside of it.

I can help you this coming Friday morning until a little bit after lunch?

Found a little deal today on ebay. 89-95 Truck (probably 4 runners also) OEM Floor mats in grey (they have blue also). Luckily for me they were being sold by Manhattan Beach Toyota so I just called them up and asked if I could pick them up (15 minutes from me). $43 for me including tax. I asked where they got them, and they said they just plug part #'s in the system and came across these being stored at the main warehouse in Torrance. I've seen other ads on ebay selling them for $100 and stating "theirs were the last new old stock available".....apparently NOT.

When I bought my truck in 92' these were the exact same floor mats I had, brought back memories! Even though I have the husky liners I still bought them and put them under my huskies (extra sound dampening ) It's just nice to know I have the OEM floor mats again, and they'll probably still look brand new 20 years from now with my huskies on top of them! hahahaa.

You might want to get them while you can if you want OEM mats for nostalgia sakes. They aren't the best or thickest mats available nowadays, but I guess back then this is what they made.

Cool, check this guys advertisement......." ....only two of each color left in the world..." Hahaha... To be honest I almost bought a set from him about year ago! No one is posting a part number, that's why they're so hard to find. But now everyone that reads my thread will know the part number! I googled the part no and some online dealerships show that they have it, but I've been through that a zillion times with various parts only to get an email a couple days later saying they don't have any in stock. Maybe someone will order from another dealership and see what happens....they are advertising cheaper at $33 too.

Wow....been a couple months since I've posted something on here. Truck is running good so nothing to report really. But I did recently hook up my Garmin GPS to direct power. I bought the wife a 2014 RAV4 AWD Limited with all the trimmings and all these new remote gadgets and in dash navigation/back-up camera/satellite radio/traffic and weather report stuff made me feel kind of bad for the ol' pickup! The least I could for her was to stop having to use the cigarette lighter adapter every time I used the GPS.....

So I bought one of those 12v automobil power adapters from amazon.com. This one was made by Gilsson Technologies and made to work with my model, apparently not all of them use the same adapter so make sure it list your model if you do this.

Just had to crimp and solder on some connectors and hook it up to my distribution box (this is an old photo and doesn't actually show the wire hooked up, but you get the idea).

Went through the hole where the ac condensation drain goes through the firewall. The black wire is the garmin power and red is for my radio.

I switched out my ford taurus coin tray/cup holder I previously installed under my radio and replaced it with a 3rd Gen Camry pocket from the junk yard. I had to shave the sides a little bit to fit and be able to open and close the latched door. It was the perfect size to fit my 4.3" screen GPS and already had felt glued to the bottom of the pocket to prevent scratching my screen. I just drilled a hold in the back for the cabling to go through.

I've had my GPS mounted like this for a long time now, just some heavy duty double sided moulding tape. I heated it up with the heat gun when installing it so it's able to hold that GPS without any screws going into the cup holder tray. I thought for sure it wouldn't last but that stuff isn't coming off.

And that is it! everything just goes into the tray when not in use, very clean.

Nice clean set up. I eventually want to hard wire somethings in just to keep from having to install more plugs and it is done once and for all. When these trucks came out wasn't much that needed charging, now we have all kinds of gadget. Garmin is nice to have in one of these.

Your tranny looks show room ready. Great job on that and the ability to rebuild it and swap it over from auto to manual. Looks like the fishing was great and imagine you guys got a work out catching that many. Always fun when you get into that many.
