first truck 88 Runner build thread

So this is my 4runner I bought it in June of 2012. I'm finally getting around to the sloppy tranny. It is currently an automatic and I'm about to swap it out for a 5 SPD what do you guys think

Great looking runner. An automatic behind the 22 or 3.0 is a gutless wonder. With a 5 speed behind them they are a whole different truck and think you will like the power difference. Starting to get a few Nebraska guys joining lately. Welcome to Yotatech.

It's behind a 22re with a brand new head lower end is bored .40 over and has a positrac rear end

We also got the 5spd back in slight problem at the moment the I have the shifter arms off right since I have not cut the holes. It appears that the arm might be to far forward that I may not have room to shift into first would any of you recommend customizing an offset arm to give me space. The donor vehicle was an 84 pickup if that matters ill add a photo of it tomorrow
