Does the extended lines look the same as the stockers and connect the same? A 2 stocker together is great idea cost and easy to get new one for a DD and mild trail goer, you could still carry a spare stocker, it is a great idea :}

Well, I have not had a chance too use it much off-road. I am still messing with the ride height. I think the shocks that Blazeland suggest are a little to stiff, but I will decide that in the future, when I get to use it some more. I still need to get the rear shock. And I think I will play with the spring pack some more as well. Although sense I do not have the rear shock, It is pointless to change the spring pack at this point, any further.

My current hold up on things; has been caused by going to school, and now I am in the process of trying to buy my recently passed on, grandmothers house. Once I get everything squared away with the purchase of the home, I will be able to get my yota off the back burner again.

I have been itching to work on the truck some more, and I am having withdrawals because I can't.

Sorry I have been so absent for that past four months. I am starting to slowly return to see what is new around here. I have been anxious to get some more work done, and head out on to the UN-beaten-path.

So here are the updates. By May 30,2012; I will be a home owner. That's right, I will have a garage for the future mods to come. I am extremely excited to be able to buy my Grandmother house, as it has always been a second home too me.

Also, for any of you locals who need some welding done; come on over. I have the welder, and the proper space to do it.

See all of you around soon.

Nice idea on the extended brake line. Did you ever end up pulling a leaf out of the chevy pack?

Yes, I did pull the middle leaf out of the packs. Pulling the leaf did help out some, but I think the shocks are the real issue at the moment. Once I am finished with spring semester at school, and moved into the house; I will get the rear shocks, and weld the lower shock mounts.

At some point a want to have a pool party at my new place, and invite all the locals over, for a potluck BB-Q

Yes toyoTech, there are not any options available (shock wise) with the stock mounting location. Driving on the road the shocks that Blaze suggest seems to let you feel every Pot-hole, and crack in the road. The ride is down rite uncomfortable; Although, on the free way the ride is not bad at all. I am guessing the shocks perform better at higher speeds. I will continue to deal with the shocks until I get more weight in the front. After I get the winch, and winch mount installed, I am hoping the weight will smooth the ride out. If not, I will modify the upper shock mount, or make changes to the shock location, as to broaden shock selection.

Are u using stock torsion bars? I plan on using stock torsion and turned down if it's too high. I also have an Arb bumper and winch. Post up if the added weight helps.

Yes ToyoTech, I am using the stock T-bars. When I get the weight added to the front I will post up what I discover regarding the ride quality.

On another note, I smelled some hot coolant while driving to the house to do some work. I pulled over into a parking lot to discover one of the freeze plugs popped out, and ejected all of the coolant all over the drivers side front wheel. I made a call to my bother to come pick me up, so I could get a new freeze plug. After getting the freeze plug, and some water, it took me about 20min. to get it running again. Obviously I did not get any work done at the house today before I had to go to work.
