Hey Guys, thanks!

I'm going to do the charge can, yep! My buddy/neighbor sent me an email, .....and he's so busy, ...well, that all his emails to everyone have been like this one, ....."Yes, buy oil charge can Mark".... that's it, hahaha.

I'm ordered 2 of these....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/R12-R...mZ400145161619

Can't get a hold of my buddy and I'm not sure that I needed 2....but I WAS told by the pros that I should add at LEAST 4oz. oil, maybe 6 if my system is dry(mine is not, there is SOME oil in there, as it drips out when I removed the hoses for o-ring replacement, lol.) And, each can of 'charge oil' is 2oz. R12 and 2oz. Mineral Oil....so there ya have it! hahaha.

Anyway, 36$ for both cans with shipping? Did I do ok?

Dude, that truck looks like it's brand new. Quit posting pics, you're making mine look like it fought in world war 1.

Hahah, I know, and I was looking in the book at like 4 versions(Angled, pivoting, straight, two piece).... NADA, not NAPA! hahaha. Even they tell me "we've gone down hill in some ways as far as ONLY carrying the better stuff, etc. Now we don't have half of the REALLY good stuff and only half of the 'GOOD' stuff, lol". My buddy there has been with them for 20 years... he's not impressed lately, but still likes it next to the other big 3! lol.

yeah, s'all good on the not taking the Runner. It makes more sense anyway for this trip. I'm going back hopefully in May, ...but if not, at least SOME time this Spring/Summer... so I'll take it then when it's just me, AC or not, hahaha.

hellllllllloooooooooooo Mark. saved your thread for last to catch up on after my over 2 weeks hiatus....because I knew catching up was gonna take some time.....cuz sometimes you write alot (hehehehheehehe........woot?)....just bustin ya.

I don't use my A/C so much if ever because I just have a truck and all the windows and sunroof.....so it doesn't really need air......but i am intrigued by your hunt that you have been on.

might have missed the detail of when you are going on your trip while reviewing the last 3 or 4 pages and can eel your disappointment of not being able to take your 4runner...but at least you have another trip planned very soon.

OK....I think i may be all caught up. all is well here....carry-on.

Hahahaha, Jerry, you always bust me up! lol.

Hey guys, sorry man.... been VERY busy, got way behind going out to see pops. Plus, got back and like 3 friends, plus one of my daughters are pulling me this way or that every spare second I have, ...so even my checking in has been spotty at best! grrr! lol.

I DO Have pics, will be posting them, most likely tonight or tomorrow... Had trouble with my puter, so Had to load them on the PC. Of course, 20 seconds later my Laptop recovered, hahhaa.

Anyway, Have pics of all the AC stuff, with descriptions, some input from some pros, etc., for anyone that's interested.... PLUS< pics of me and pops, the crappy weather while there, the one sunny day, and I think some of my bro's 68 Chevelle, 468, INSANE, etc. lol. BTW, the story on that chevelle? MORE INSANE! He bought it from someone most of you have DEFINITELY heard of..... and no, not famous....INFAMOUS and kinda creepy! hahaha.

Be back soon, and sorry for the stagnant pause! lol.

Oh, it is, .....kinda buried in the Garage, but I think the pics are ok, have to look still. It's barely able to keep on the ground.... Fully Tuned, and he's also got an LS-1 Convertable 99 Camero,....the thing is SICK! He's putting rear Turbos in it(the exhaust type??? lol), and it already does 168mph or so. DANG that thing is NOT ROOMY though, seriously! lol.
