Hahahaha, derpy, a lesser form of dopey, correct? Lol.

Yeah, many have been PM'ing me about this mod, wut the variables were, etc.... Well, since I found this to be a good place to get some of wut I know so far, out there, shazamm! Hoomp, there it is! Lol. I'm doing my best to keep it 1st gen 4Runner/2nd gen PU related and add things that I skipped right passed, like the rotors being different diameter, the fact that Corax's issue with fitment of the dual diaphragm booster was primarily due to his big arse 7MGE getting in the way (lol) and then some of the other semantics that I, as has happened b4, read right past, while trying to absorb the multiple variables in relation to the differences from one rig to another(as with Corax having a motor that limited his possibilities on the booster end of things)

Wow Mark I can’t read fast enough to keep up with what your doing by the time I catch up with your posts your 2 projects ahead of me….any ways this brake mod is something I am very interested in and I am following it very closely so thanks for putting up all the info, as you know my truck has been park for 10 years now so it needs new brakes I think I am about 3 weeks from starting it ( or trying to starting it ) so brakes are a must thanks again for the info and your time. Tom

Hey William..... 7MGE & 7MGTE Are the straight 6 Supra and Cressida engines from 8/86 or something to 91 or 92 or 93? Hahaha. .. I keep seeing "V6" toward the end of the cressida... and those supras in the 93, 94+ range wound up with 1JZE/TE AND 2JZTTE's(?) I'm so tired im drawing a blank on the j series stuff. Lol. Early cressida and supra had the 5MGE, I had an 84 5M and an 88 7M Cressida.... B.A. MOTORS! Corax seems to love his, but I keep getting advised by swap gurus to go newer 3RZ or 1UZ cuz its an easier swap, its OBD2 and other stuffs, hehe.

Hahaha, yeah, ur not the only one who has said that, Chuckar! Lol. Sounds like a plan..... And, well, while I HAVE been the guinea pig, a couple times, ive also benefited MANY times from ppl being one before me, hahaha. So I will gladly try out these rotors, I KNOW these ADVICS pads are good quality (so I will keep the ones that come with that kit as spares), and I will report in detail on the install procedure, then results thereafter!

Im excited, just need the time to get crackin on LOTS of stuff, not just this. The sliders, hopefully this weekend, will be going on... So that will also be reported!

PS> Socal85toyota is not available for another week on the sliders install.... He's too busy at the moment... And S'ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL GOOD! lol... I'm so grateful for his help, I can't be picky just cuz I'm excited... Wouldn't help anyhow, haha.

THANKS AGAIN, SOCAL85TOYOTA!!!!!

************************************************** ****************

Got an order from some Aisin Hubs; Ordered the full OEM- Gasket and O-Ring kit for the HUB Resto I'm doing for a buddy on here.... It's coming along really nicely in just one day! >>>>>>>

I will post more pics when completed... Please let me know if you're interested in a PAIR... I have 1 IFS Pair and 2 SFA Pairs left..... All fully functional, but WILL be restored, not sold as is(I might as well keep them as spares if that's the case... As the yards charge WAY too much for these now, being LKQ).... S'ALL good, ...I'm just grateful to find them on occasions! lol. SHOCKED how much fatter the SFA 30-Spline'rs are! hahahaa.... ALSO shocked how well of condition this pair is in... Just incredible, considering the age. I'll be restoring them completely and will have them all ready on my Classified Ad... SO, if you're SAS'ing and don't have em or need an IFS pair, Restored WELL, ... Please, lemme know. (I will not discuss price on here... But let's just say, they're NOT free, lol. However, they'll be a VERY fair deal, IMHO. If not, oh well, no one loses... ... But I put great attention to every nook and cranny, and they're ready for bolt on with all OEM Gaskets and O-Rings. ) Just thought I'd let you all know, here, first. hehe.

Hey Redyota, they are OEM/TOYOTA parts, which I get from the dealer, as I dont always have more to order online, so its not enough difference to pay for shipping and wait and so forth, ya know? But, u can get them from toyotapartszone.com or the like.

Outer/cover to freewheel hub gasket:........
........... 43521-60010

Freewheel hub dial O-ring: .................................. 43532-60010

Freewheel hub body to axle gasket:...................... 43422-60010

Hahahahahaha, nope, I actually place them IMMEDIATELY into empty safety top perscription bottles! YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHY! Hahahahha. These were in such good condition, internally and externally, that both balls still had grease keeping them on the springs, lol. They came off a 94, so they had likely been bought from and installed by the dealer (had exactly the right ammount of grease/Oem Hub grease in them) Nonetheless, they got cleaned to like-new, and will be getting Valvoline/SYN-POWER/ High & Low temp extremes- synthetic wheel bearing grease. LOVE the stuff.

Lil pinging going on, lately

1. I use only 76 gas

2. Its only doing it up serious hills or IOW, lower rpm in 4th hear on steep hills, etc.

3. 2 tanks now, pretty sure, I've noticed it.

Wondering if my gremlin is beginning to manifest symptoms that might finally lead me to THE SOURCE!.... or, if its just another problem altogether. >.< haha

Well I had to try and do something to make you doubt yourself and double check your work. Those parts look too clean and orderly.
Pinging, even with decent quality gas, huh...what's your timing set at? I know this is a somewhat recent thing, but it may at least help eliminate possibilities if all your tune up specs are listed.

Quick question. Do you have to replace the 2 nuts in the hub? Cause those nuts are 5 bucks a piece!!

Not unless somebody has used a screwdriver to remove them. Even then, you can still grind the burrs off of them and they're useable. There's also a few places like Marlin and Trail-gear that has the "spindle nut kit" which includes the thrust washer and star washer with the nuts for under $10 a side.
