I remember now!

 

So I was pretty pissed off when I hit my cabinets in garage. My KCs were ruined and my cabinets were jacked. My neighbor gave those lights, he had them since 1979. I had them for about 8 months and broke them. Anyway, I found a killer deal on these baja designs fuegos. They are only 35 watts but they are 10 times brighter than the KCs. I picked up the pair for 200.

 

Has anyone done the headliner in the fiberglass top by themselves.

 

Has anyone painted that fiberglass top? What did you use?

Got her on the road this weekend. I still need a front driveshaft and I need to put my gears in the rear diff.

BTW is it possible for you to post up some pix of your rear spring hangers and where you mounted the shocks at. I just ran into a problem with my newly SAS'd 89 4Runner. and it'd really help me out if i could see how you welded/mounted your parts. figured your runner might hold the answer that im looking for.

 

I used the stock locations for the upper rear mounts. On the bottom rear I just rotated one forward and one backwards. I dont know if this is the right way to do it but it seems to be fine. I took it out to Johnson Valley right after I finished it and purposely beat the f out of this truck. It was off the ground a couple of times and put through its paces. I drove it back home to Vegas (250 miles) with the cruise set at 75 and it was fine. Its a 4 inch in the front and 5 inch in the rear. I was thinking about taking the bottom leaf out because it does feel a little top heavy off road.

Btw to answer your question. I haven't gotten around to mine just yet. But I bought my headliner material at Pepboys for about $40 u jist need to buy some adhesive spray for it.
I've got my headliner and spray in the garage waiting patiently to be installed. Lol once I get everything situated with my rear end then ill jump on that headliner followed by my power windows.

Hey cheese what size shocks did you use for the front and rear. And what size lift do u have?

 

They are 12 inch shocks. I got the tg 4" in the front and 5" in the rear.
