I'm really bad at taking pics ha Over on TW I think the only part install I documented on my '12 Tacoma was a step by step of the short shifter install. Everything else is just too annoying to stop and take a picture of each time. If I go wheeling with more than just me and the lady I'll ask whoever to take em, but I don't really know anyone here in Lincoln who wheels

except that guy who just posted in here^ ha

Thanks for the encouraging words fellas. Keep on wrenching! (so it doesn't fall apart haha)

As soon as I finish my projector retrofit and weld on the sliders I think I will start taking this project more seriously:

Better than my original plan for a twin since the lady and I are thinking about settling down. . .

Just a quick fist sketch. Critiques?

it's hard to see that it makes sense without seeing the tailgate almost closed and closed and where the gaps no longer are. I also put a piece at each top corner of the tailgate to seal the biggest gap.

And the bottom was straight forward obviously

Sliders should be done this week.

Meh, I'm going to bed. They're fine like that. More mysterious. Gotta get up at 6.

Just a couple from me exploring at a local state park.

And finally I have my answer what those plastic bits on my tailgate area are for, kind of what I expected. I'm mising weather strips.

Thanks for the pic fix. You're not missing anything. I added aftermarket weather strips that I had for my Tacoma. Stock trucks don't have it.

Nope, it's Daily Driver not too far from 48th and HWY 2.

They think it was burning off elsewhere and got it fixed but I've checked the levels since and it seems to be dropping again . . . We will see in time.

I just want it to WARM UP so I can actually work on this thing.

It needs a wash too. I covered it in mud messing around and I don't like to leave all that winter muck on there either. Rust will be right behind if I do.

you should move out here to AZ! It's been perfect weather lately! Replaced my thermostat and have my distributor ready to be swapped out when my new one arrives later today from Mr UPS man. Nice and cool in the morning and a little warm later in the day.

So your coolant leak, how did you notice it? By checking the levels and stuff?
I had (hopefully fixed today) a coolant leak, hopefully from my thermostat and not the water pump seal, that would only drip on the ground if I didn't drive it for a day or so. While driving, everything would get hot enough down there to evaporate all away, but after some time, it would show up. Have you looked at it after it sat overnight or a day or so?

Oh dude, I was looking for that leak for months haha it's NOWHERE to be found. The reservoir just depletes gradually. We may or may not be good after this time around though. We shall see.

I wish I was living in Prescott, AZ Where it is almost always nice. Every since the stan though I really don't like the heat as much as I used to either haha I'm a wimp
