Looked like it was leaking oil or refrigerant from here. Replaced the O-ring and it still looked like it was leaking.

Nice work on AC system. Are you having it charged with r12 or r134a?

Thanks! Charging it with 134a. At this point the only thing I haven't replaced is the lines but that might change here in the very near future.

Good choice!

I hope you weather through the storm OK. It looks like it is going to be real nasty.

Made it through the hurricane with only minor damage to the GMC. Couple a dents, broken mirror, and some scratches but otherwise unharmed.

Hood.

Thought I would give you guys an update on the MAACO paint job. I got this done in 2015. In all fairness it has held up well considering I have done very little in the way of upkeep. Only place that really needs attention is the hood. But for a none daily driver it was a well spent 1500 bucks.

Put the stock wheels back on for now. The tires on my chrome wheels are garbage. They're cupped and ride like crap. Gonna leave these on for now and besides, they look classic badass anyway.

Replaced the OEM center support bearing with a Beck/Arnley. Significant reduction in vibration while driving. Not completely gone, but I still need to do brakes, shocks, and wheel bearings. I imagine that will help tremendously.

Out with the old, in with the new. The blue shocks are the same shocks that were on the truck when I bought it back in 99. I hope this hepls the ride and more importantly the handling.

Decided I needed to bust some rust. Not perfect but much better. Probably going to spray it black with rattle cans for now to freshen it up. Would do POR 15 but will tackle that when I SAS it.

Upgraded to Truck Mall LED's. WOW...what a difference!!! It took two different Kaslight H4 harnesses to get the high's and low's to function correctly but glad I did it. Now I can actually see at night.

She got new tires two weeks ago. Drove it for the new commute to work (45 mins one way) and then wouldn't ya know, the u-joint at the transmission went bad. Was pretty bummed because it drove so much smoother after getting the new tires. Ended up replacing it. Man what a pain in the ass! Also ended replacing the window regulator. It has been bad for as long as I can remember. Once I got it installed it became apparent that the window run seal is bad, which is why the window is still hard to roll up and down. Any how, at least it's done.
