right the price is what's sooo tempting to put them on trust me i've been there. I'm just putting the facts out there. If my truck was a part time driver (it will be soon) ltb's would be on there and rocking. I just wanted to state the what's good bad and ugly about the tires mentioned. For my 2 cents as a daily and offroaded rig the bighorns are tough to beat.

hahaha you have no idea what all ive been through lol.

i did ask the wife last night for 1k to lift my truck, but she asked if i had lost my mind. i told her yeah, thats why i married her...j/k j/k i wouldnt be able to type if i told her that.

by christmas i should have at a minumum the following done.

-Tires
-Lift
-Front Bumper (custom)
-Rear Bumper (custom)
-New Fender
-New Grille
-New headlights
-New Taillights
-New Clear Corners

That is at a minumum. Im working a dead end job atm, so money has been tight, 1 week after returning from my honeymoon i was let go from my job, and spent over 1500$ moving to Va just to come right back a week later.

But things are on the up and up now. So hang in there with me while it get done.

Paint, im considering doing the same blue my Z-71 was. but i havent set my mind on anything yet. I want something unique not an everyday run of the mill color.

Should i get 35's or stay at a 33?

i have 4.56 gears already, i just dont to absolutly kill my 0-60 times. already in the minutes as is. will i see much of a difference?

in a tire im just looking for something that will run well on road, and excellent off road, and something that looks good. Im still having trouble justifying to myself why i need nice tires. Im having to tell myself to keep my truck as i buy/sell too much and money tempts me all to well.

im 21 and ive owned 9 differnt vehicles. i dont keep something too long, and ive gone to great extents to keep this. (gave the title to my mom and told her to keep it away from me)

Im going to try and keep this truck for a looooong time, which is why i have still got it so far. I have been offered 8x what ive had in it, and turned it down.

Ill have to look into the maxis bighorns when i get ready. Thanks for the advice!

Im liking the progress on this!

Keep an eye out on craigslist. You can find a 4 inch isf lift for like 250-300 bucks. Maybe even trade some stuff for it.

And i think your truck needs a camo paint job

Oh i like that haha

Or if you are going for something that stands out and is bright, yet still keep the hunting truck idea, maybe the orange safety camo that hunters wear!

IMO the 35" tires will kill the ifs if you wheel it hard but if you stay in the mud and light off road you should be fine. Change you're gearset to 5.29's and roll the 35's! If you decide on 33's then 4.88's will be the gear of choice or at least thats what i run and love it

It's good to see you're sticking with the yota. I got mine cheap too ($491). If you do 33"s 4.88's are really good but you can get away with 4.56's. As for tires I have Mastercraft Courser M/T's. They're nice. Remember when lifting this is a good general rule, lift only to fit tires no more, and don't be afraid to do a little trimming of the fenders. Also if you have any questions about paint feel free to ask as I painted my 4runner. And if you have any other questions feel free to shoot me a PM anytime.

- goodluck!

idk how bad the 22re auto is this but round here its not to uncommon to see 33's and 35's on stock 4.10s and 4.56's. all of us kids with yotas round here are to broke to regear so we kinda just deal with it. lol ya the swampers ltb are by no means a road tire but you get use to em after a week, like i said i have been surprised by mine. i wasn't even expecting 10k out of mine but im dang near on 20k i think haha and the lift should be no where near a grand??? lol i think i have around 3-400 in my lift and i sit taller than yotas with drop bracket kits on em. lol

well depends on how you want you truck to handle the extra stress of larger tires. If it's a stick you could go to 33's and be ok but it'll lessen your gas mileage. If it's an auto forget the tires larger than 31" it'll be a dog to drive. Honestly if you want to do it right look for a new gearset for you tires you'll be happy you did in the long run and so will your toyota. You can go a lot of places with a locker and 31's. Trust me i've gone many places with open diffs, and 31" swampers. Here if this helps.... engine mods are in my sig, i run 33x12.50's with 4.88 gears w56 5spd and get 22 mpg on a good day (no wind, highway)And keep up with traffic and cruise at 75mph all day. I'm happy with that set up and wouldn't change it. When i was running 4.10's with 31x11.50 swampers the truck was an absolute dog but that was without the new engine. 31x10.50's with 4.10's was reasonable and ran well on the highway but with the new motor.

well swampers weigh a ton also. my swampers weigh more than most 35's and almost as much as some 37s. so that has a factor in it to. as much as i love my swampers i dont think i will ever get em again unless my truck becomes a strictly hunting truck only lol its my dd right now and im getting 9-11 mpg but i also have a auto 3vze

Ah you have an auto :/ I'd go with 4.88's for sure then. You'll be a pig with 4.56's. I don't know how crazy you wanna get with this but you could always consider a w56 (5 speed) swap.

Please! Lol I'm on the factory clutch, master and slave cylinders with 253,XXX!! Although I'd rather have an auto for rock crawling.
