I drilled a hole in the front side of the of the area were the core support mount is, and i also drilled the other end of the bracket and the light housing and bolted it all together.
Thanks for the info. Shoot me a pic if you can, sounds like a good idea.

Update:

I will be doing the rear 4.88 this Sunday in preparation for my hunting trip coming up in a few weeks. Was really hoping to have the cash to drop in a locker but that's not going to happen for a while after I just had to put some money into the family wagon. I will sell my open 4.10 diffs to start the saving process. I am pretty interested to see how the 4.88's are with my 32's and have been keeping my eyes peeled for a smokin deal on some 33's here. I wont go above that until this IFS is gone.

Cheers

Okay folks, rear 4.88 3rd is installed. Straight forward, no problems. I sprayed all bolts this morning before starting this afternoon. Everything came off easy. New rear V6 4.88 looks good, no noise, brakes work good after good bleeding and I have some more horses to the foot! Well it feels that way anyways. I am running 32's and liked how it felt, RPM's good, its like getting back another gear. I haven't put it in 4 wheel drive yet to try out the front but will do so soon.

Thanks man! You are next, let's get those 4.56's in! it's worth it for sure. I am not worried about the haul with all my gear up the mountain to go hunting in a few weeks now. I was scouting alternate routes that seemed more flat but now I'm just going to rip on up there. I have heard I will lose some mileage on the tank of gas so I better bring the loose change along!

Did the truck come with that style sun roof or was it put in there? I really like it and if its after market maybe you know where it came from.

It is definitely after market but no brand name or anything on it. It was installed by the previous owner. Wish I had more info.

Thanks Mark,

I checked out your links in your signature. Nice 4runner and work you have done!

I am liking the White this time around for sure but Red was cool too, haha. I need to tackle my exhaust here soon. It's not stock and is new but it's some cheapo Ebay special with genereic muffler and cat. On my last 4runner I really liked the free flow cat and Magnaflow muffler and I'm thinking about going that route. I also need to reroute this rear tail pipe soon, its ridiculous - haha.

Sweet, ....

I went with 2.25 to the back, Magnaflow CAT(3 way is the only legal way in the peoples republic of CA! hahaha), with the 4-into-1 LCE CA Legal Header and Borla Muffler. Not sure if you heard the Borla and the rest in my videos, but it REALLY has a nice sound and breathes well.

Hope you get the perfect set up for her.... Enjoy,

Mark

Sweet rig I'm building my 88 as we speak. The reason I got it was that were going to have a third kid and with the pic of your three in the back makes me confindent that it will work. See you on the trail hopefully next summer.

I know this isn't really a build update but last week I spent the week hunting. I thought I'd share that the 4.88 gears worked out GREAT! I had no problems running the rig anywhere. The steeper grade canyons were not a problem either. What a difference! I will post up some pics of my trip, not many of the rig or anything but good pics nonetheless.
