Yeah I enjoy doing write ups so I'll probably being doing a few here shortly. As for the mod, I'm still doing some research/figuring out what I want to do. Its broke right now so brakes in the rear are pretty much useless.
That's a really good deal on the radio, we have pepboys, so I'll swing by there!
As for the diff, I'd like a 4:10 open diff straight trade, but I you're serious, we could work something out, shipping is probably wicked on it though...

Sorry guys, due to the promotion, I needed to sell the truck to get my toolbox and tools. Why do airplanes have to be SAE?!

But there is some good news, I sold it to my buddy, who has wanted it for awhile and already has a SAS in plan, bumpers will be fabbed up also, so at least it'll be better off.

Hopefully I'll be able to get it back after all the work is done, if not, I'll be back next time in a first gen!

Cheers!

Yeah it's something I had to do, in forming a career at Honeywell aerospace, and I'm in need of a toolbox full of tools to do my new job. (super excited face)

I'll stop pop in time to time and lurk in the shadows as usual

Hey, guess what, things went down with my buddy, he needed a car, I want another truck, so why not trade?

THIRD TIMES THE CHARM! Lol

Traded my 85 BMW 325 for the runner back, he ended up not getting around to any mods, so it's still on!

Okay, well, I sold the yellow rabbit last weekend, do to things going south on that, I'm hiding the Jetta daily and going to daily to runner.
I guess I should learn to check engine codes, thought te yellow one was a 1.6, actually 1.5.

Small info on it.
1984 vw Jetta, I bought it from the ORGINIAL owner, and well, it's pretty minty except for a few small things.

Made some progress this past week or so, got a 85 celiac MAF and box, box was too big (wouldn't clear hood), so I'm going with a cone filter for now. Got the new battery mounted and secured, dual electric pusher fans up and running. Still doing the finishing touches. More to come shortly.

It looks way better in my opinion, I didn't really gain anything from it like the supra, but after building some other cars, simplicity was the game. So why not start here? Lol.

On a side not, the trucks maiden voyage was last night, had to go save my brothers mini. 83 2wd short bed, so I rolled out in the truck, wiring hanging everywhere, no fenders, no corner lights, zip ties grille.
And I get there;

Well, apparently the 4runner doesn't like me. It currently sounds like a train.
Pulled the pan and there's metal in there. Hello rebuild...

Yeah I've been watching some 3.4 swaps and stuff. But I think for the mean time ill keep it 22RE. I have a spare RE so I can rob parts and what not. But we shall see, I got work the next 3 days, then ill start digging into it and see what I can find.

Okay digging on some flash drives I found a couple goodies. First picture was right after my brother got it. Second picture was shortly after that a couple weeks after paint. Dang she looked good!
