Fifteen gallons of usable?

 

?? Tank not empty at 15.5 US gallons. might be two gallons, or a bit more remaining. Just a guess. Never run it much lower.

 

i routinely put 15 to 16 gallons in my 4runners at fill up. i have done so for most of the time i’ve owned them. i regularly run all my vehicles to less than a quarter tank before filling. most i can recall putting in one of the 4runners was 16.3 gallons.

 

3rd tank 270 miles on 13,75 gallons for 19.6 MPG

Near 200 miles at 70 MPH+ Interstate miles.

Gonna run some more miles before timing change. Too good to mess with it now.

3200 Revs @ 72 MPH on my Rig.

Oil and filter change @900 miles. Delo 400 15w-40 with 2 oz ZDDP additive.

 

Fueled a few days ago after a couple hundred miles interstate travel and 30 or 40 dirt miles.

The calculation showed 18.74 MPG.

 

Two years and 12 thousand miles on this work now.
Still running flawlessly.
Fuel mileage at 18 to near 20 MPG.
