92 Pickup Low Budget Build
1992 Pickup, used parts that I stripped from my extra cab and other parts bought from TG.
SAS with 4" All Pro springs from old extra cab. Axles were from old truck also.

Decided to swap springs from my 4runner onto the pickup and vise versa.
4runner had RUF and the pickup rears in the back.

With the all pro springs

RUF and stock rears with one leaf added sitting on 37s

winch

Dual cases 23 spline 4.7 in the rear. All TG

Custom crossmember using my old FROR skid
I made a thread in the fab section on this also

Bobbed 15"

Also boxed the rear and made new shackle hangers

Didn't care to do any bondo, just some rattle can

So far the duals have been the most expensive thing on this truck. I plan on doing the IFS hub swap and maybe some f150 rear springs. Sliders and bumper are also on the to do list.

So as it sits, I have done the SAS using TG hangers, 5" boomerang shackles, 48" RUF with one leaf added, 85 front axle with 5.29s and Detroit locker, TG high steer, dual cases using TG adapter, 23 spline 4.7s, stock rear springs with one leaf added, 5" shackles, V6 rear 3rd with 5.29s and full spool, bobbed 15", ramsey 8.5e winch, 37" boggers.

Just recently grooved the boggers. Fast and cheap

Also got my HA parts on the cheap

Still need to drill/tap gear box, move it forward and put on flat pitman arm.
Also have a Thorley header and Thrush glasspack sitting in the garage that will go on. Header was $100 on CL brand new, glasspack was on sale on summit.

Thanks! This is probably the lowest you can go with an IFS frame. My RUF are damn near flat and I have about 3" of up travel with 12" travel shocks. I always throw around the idea of cutting off the frame from the firewall forward and building a new frame and 3link it. But of course that takes time and money.
