92 Pickup Low Budget Build

1992 Pickup, used parts that I stripped from my extra cab and other parts bought from TG.
SAS with 4" All Pro springs from old extra cab. Axles were from old truck also.

So far the duals have been the most expensive thing on this truck. I plan on doing the IFS hub swap and maybe some f150 rear springs. Sliders and bumper are also on the to do list.

Still need to drill/tap gear box, move it forward and put on flat pitman arm.

Also have a Thorley header and Thrush glasspack sitting in the garage that will go on. Header was $100 on CL brand new, glasspack was on sale on summit.

Thanks! It's getting there. Few more things and it'll be ready to wheel this summer.

Haven't had time to do anything. I did order a set of TG longs though.
Also threw on better tires and trimmed the fenders. Got some 2x3 rec tube to build a rear bumper and sliders.

Definitely one of my favorite trucks, I'd love for mine to have your stance.

Thanks! This is probably the lowest you can go with an IFS frame. My RUF are damn near flat and I have about 3" of up travel with 12" travel shocks. I always throw around the idea of cutting off the frame from the firewall forward and building a new frame and 3link it. But of course that takes time and money.

I like how you tied the frame into the front spring hanger.

I just went thru your thread again. That thing is sweet. The bed bob really set it off IMO.
