After a good day of wheelin yesterday, on the drive home this happened.

Long story short, narrow dirt road, heavy dust, blind turn, vehicles coming up, I was hugging the right when I hit a hole which launched my truck off the road and into a tree. Drove it out and home. Body is ˟˟˟˟ed, but everything else is ok.

Looks like I'll be swapping my extra cab body onto this frame this winter. Maybe link it in the process.

Yeah, it could've been a lot worse. Glad the tree saved it from rolling.

I really haven't had much time to do anything. I'm thinking about trying to fix the cab the best I can and throw a windshield in. But I'm also thinking of just tearing it all down and swap the drive train over to the extra cab. That'll be a good winter project. I just wish there were more hours in a day!

I have my old truck in the garage. I'll see if I can link it in the process of swapping parts over. Nothing fancy, 3 link front and 3 link rear. I don't really want to move the tank and I still want to have a bed. Hopefully I can have it done by next spring!

Did you repair it?

At this point I'm pretty dead set on building up the extra cab. If it wasn't almost winter, I'd just remove the windshield and wheel it.

Gotta love finding deals on craigslist. 40" mtr's for $100
They're in really good condition for being the older style mtrs.

Jeez, man! $100 is a STEAL!

I took a forklift to the A-pillar and bent it out far enough to put a new windshield in.. I'll try and find a picture
