I'm bit over halfway now, it is a vw taro, same as toyota pickup. VW was doing this together with Toyota, but most of the parts are Toyota.
I got it from a exporter at Berlin, registration Estonia. Drove it home (netherlands) with lot of luck, as compression and oilpressure was gone, power only like half. During this ride (600km) the oxy sensor gave code on the dash the whole way. I could drive about 100km/h only. This was last October.
Engine 22re is very rare overhere, got all the parts from rockauto. Rest of the parts from Milnerofroad.
Had to put recon crankshaft, overbore the cylinders, full engine rebuild kit, just finished this.

I grinded the sides from the rear, as they were too much rotten, want to make a stepside now.
Further modifications:
-261 camshaft from engbldr
-304 stainless exhaust 2" without cat, C-flow muffler.
-XL AFM mazda
-4 spray bosch injectors
-removed all the vacuum lines, except the pressure regulator en gastank smel-line.

Maybe feels like 10hp more now, ave. mileage is about 1 liter to 9-10 km
