the motor has shifted a bit on the stand, so i have the hoist hooked up again. have to get it level and right on there.
Joe and i messed around for about an hour disassembling the passenger's side removing the exhaust manifold / a/c compressor bracket / crossover pipe / stiffener plate.
interesting thing i found out.....might be a 3vze thing....might be a 5 speed thing.....but, it would be impossible to remove the oil pan without removing the stiffener brackets..
driver's side will be done tomorrow.

oh hey, I think tightening up on those oil pan bolts stopped that oil leak. FOr now anyway. lol. I was able to hook my PCV back up without any vacuum leaks though the oil pan gasket.
Took it to work yesterday and did not see any new drops of oil on the pavement. Hard to tell at home since it's parked in a dirt "driveway"

yes.
i'm a very simple man. simple indeed.
after google-ing and searching threads i went back to that site (saw it mentioned on your thread about toyodiy) but didn't know there were pictures until i pressed the button that says "get info" and there it is.
definitely gonna go with Toyota head gaskets and bolts.
plus i'm looking for those bolts for the motor mounts and a nut and rubber washer thingy that i had to destroy at the passenger's side fuel rail.
