I'm not sure with ther Budbuilt, I know 100 percent you can with the TG (I did it) if you show me a picture of it, I would have a better idea....and honestly, the Budbuit is nice, but TG's has been great and it's at least $100 cheaper...

I called budbuilt about that once, the guy I talked to said they sold a spacer or something so that you could use a dual tc crossmember on a single case set up.

Seems like a spacer would do the trick, but it would lower your ground clearance which would suck...

Right, but it would only be there until the dual setup was installed, then the spacer wouldnt be needed. And even while the spacer was in, it'd still be better than the factory boat anchor.

True...you should try it, I'm sure a couple people on YT would be interested.

Well I ordered the TG GM alternator swap kit and ordered this alternator from Napa http://www.napaautoparts.com/Search/...294_0006541824 and the pigtail that goes with it so I can splice into that and hook it all up....good timing too, my battery light and brake light came on at the same time and is staying on which means a bad alt. can anyone confirm that's what that means for me?

Also, I ordered an Optima Red Top battery so once I get done bracing the front of the frame and the body mounts, my electrical will be beefed up and ready to go for the winch!

Well, I finished the GM alternator swap. I used a 105 amp CS130 out of a 91-93 Chevy 350 van. I used 2 guage wire and did the "big 3" upgrade and put a 120 amp fuse in the alt. to battery line. Not really any exciting pictures but here's the alt., fuse, and my ghetto battery hold down (for now, till I can make another one)

Ghetto!!! haha

Note: do not waste your money on a swap bracket, I'm regretting spending $40 on the TG one, I had to modify it to make the alt. work anyways so I should have just modified the stock ones...

Got to cutting out and welding up my front frame brace for my MC front bumper before I throw my winch on. Welds aren't the prettiest, but they'll hold, I'm still learing I still have to bore out the side mounting holes now cause the bumper is mounted 1/4" forward now after the brace was added. Here ya go:

I'm debating on whether or not to gusset the front body mounts just to be on the safe side...we'll see if I get to it, I need to put my hand throttle on too. and it's t-minus 13 days till the Rubicon!

Thanks man!

I got my bumper finished up today and got my winch on!!! I need to cut off the light tabs and make some new ones, I had to cut the driver's side one so the winch would fit and I did it quick so it looks crappy, but It'll be fixed sooner or later. I may move the lights I'm not sure where to though.
