Yesterday, I finished my ammo can center console, I made it lockable by grinding down and drilling a hole through the bolt and put a pad lock on there, check it out...

Thanks, I don't really care about the looks, there are definitely better aesthetic center consoles, but this was free and easy and effective.

Maybe if I had clear corner lenses, marker lights, and other blingin mods I'd care

Finished cutting my fenders, the front

Before (already a little cut on the passenger side)

I didn't like how the bumper didn't line up with the fender very well

After

Thanks man! I think it looks alot better than before, it just looked to crammed with the 33's and stock height...

And they can say all they want, I'm loving the ammo can box , I even put two pieces of velcro on the top for both my Ipod and phone so they sit like this now. It might not be pretty...but it works, and besides, my truck ain't pretty haha

Couple updates on what I've been working on/will be working on...

1. Welded up some 1/2 inch angle iron to my gas tank skid plate to beef it up a little bit, I'm still thinking of ways to strengthen it even more...any ideas?

2. I'm making my own front crossmember brace for behind my Marlin bumper. I stole the idea from Addicted Offroad but I have a ton of metal laying around so I just am gunna make my own.

3. And look what came in the mail yesterday!!

4. I'm gunna be doing a GM alternator swap, and upgrading my battery to an Optima Red Top.

5. I have all the pieces for my hand throttle, I just need to cut a piece of metal out of some sheet and hook it all up.

6. I'm gunna make my own front IFS brace and front skid plate that mounts in the tow hooks old spot and all the way back to the IFS crossmember.

And that should be all for now, I wanna get it all done by June 9 cause that's when I'm headin to the Rubicon!!

Yeah man, it's gunna be an interesting project, we'll see how it goes, the only reason I'm making it is to have an attatchment point that far back for my skid I'm gunna make.
