So far the 88 red runner had a 3.0 w/auto. The engine and transmission have been removed in place of a 3.4 out of a 96 T-100 manual, and the transmission is out of 95 3.0 4Runner. The T-100 had 195,000 miles, the tranny had 95,000 miles. These were both in my 85 carbed Toyota.https://www.yotatech.com/attachment....1&d=1355186480

Smile

A few things for the conversion you will need are the 3 liter oil pan pickup tube windage tray dip stick and tube, also the thermostat housing and lower radiator hose off of the 3 liter. The 3 liter engine mounts will also be needed. The engine harness and ecu, also the 2 body harness plugs that go into the ecu are the ones needed to be spliced into the donors harness along with the obd2 port and wires.

I also use an auto t-case crossmember for a quick bolt on application, because it swings forward to mate to the 3.4, also use the 3.4 flywheel pressure plate and disk. Then use a 3 liter clutch release bearing. Modifying the crossover pipe is a must, for it is too wide to fit between the frame rails.

The T-100 high pressure fuel line is long enough to simply cross over to the passenger side and connects to your high pressure fitting off of the frame. You will have to buy roughly 4 feet of EFI return line, simply because toyota never made one that long. (fortunately the T-100 has most all of the parts on the 3.4 besides what i have mentioned)

Here is a picture of the donor vehicle 88 sr5 v6 auto fully loaded, and a pile of parts on the shelf. Who knows, it might just get that FJ80 front. I have a 84 mini truck front that might just go in there. For now it came with a 4 inch rancho IFS lift in front and some 4 inch blocks in the back lol. Also came with some 33x12.50x15 pro comp mud terrains on 15x10 mags.

So today i have routed the heater core hose from the 3.4 to the 3.0, modified the fan shroud to fit the offset fan (3.0 fan on 3.4 fan clutch) tacoma upper radiator hose and 3.0 thermostat housing and lower hose.

I have also replaced with all factory parts: thermostat, spark plugs, and wires.

Much more to do...

Your pics are still too darn small

Follow up how-to in my sig on posting pics - it's really, really easy, and will let you upload much larger photos in the post so we can actually see what you did (which we want to!).
