True, I was thinking find a good trail or something somewhere smack in-between north and south, that way we all wouldn't have to drive TOO far ya know. Though death Valley would be a cool ride, just not in the summer. Yosemite would be a fun trip too, open to other ideas as well.

This thread is really starting to move quickly. It'll be interesting to see how the truck sits after the SAS. I know the front end normally ends up much higher because you have an IFS frame, not a SAS one, but with the 4" lift already in the rear, you might actually end up sitting pretty level. Think it depends on where you place your mounting points. Did you make sure you have the same gears in the solid axle as in your rear diff? It may already have been mentioned. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

thank ya sir
definitely, well have to plan something
that would be pretty cool
i know, it will REALLY move quickly in about a day. i get all my parts tomorrow, tuesday is axle rebuild day, and hopefully this weekend is the swap. it will be level, im getting front and rear 5" springs from a buddy for $100. i did check, thank ya! and they are the same
Golden state motor sports in Sac does regears for 100 bucks per axle.

yep, i hate doing axle seals. any chance you want to sell me the IFS Front bolt on brace and cut each side of the welded mounts so i can use it on the rear of my IFS. that way i have a bolt on IFS brace? thanks

so, little update- got axle seals from napa(im too impatient to wait for them from skys) and got my axle completely rebuilt up to the spindles. all i need now is my ifs hubs. also cut one of the frame tubes, and MAN are these frames thick haha. lets just say ill have had enough of the cutting torch for a year or so. i also got my springs, went with the 3 inchers instead of the 5 inchers. im happy about that, because 5 would have been way too tall. and i got my rear u bolt flip kit. sooooooo, long story short, everything is SET for this weekend(i hope)
oh and anybody know how far forward i should move my rear spring hangers?that is all

lol.
