Good looking daughter Racerflea!
Yeah man, it did fine. Thanks again for the tow! I haven't even had a chance to pop the hood since I parked it. My GM alternator mount should arrive tomorrow to replace the worn out homemade one and put the alternator in the stock location. Then I'll get a radiator in it and should be ready to hit the trail. Also, not sure how I missed it, but the castor is about 10* in the wrong direction, so that explains the death wobble. Have new spring perches coming in tomorrow for that.

4Crawler can make custom shims over 12* so I'll keep that open as an option. I guess I'll have to do some math and figure out what I need and the best way to achieve it. Wasn't real excited about cutting perches though.

The temp guage on this truck has been intermittant lately, but usually I can tap the intrument panel a couple of times and it will work for a few seconds so I wasn't stressing it too much. Anyway, heading home from the trail the weekend before last, I unknowingly lost a fan belt and didn't realize the truck was overheating until the radiator exploded (apparently the cap was bad too).
Well, according to Performance Radiator, a brand new aluminum radiator with a 3 year warranty is cheaper that repairing an old one, who new?

Also, installed Trail Gear's GM alternator mount to use with the welder's alternator. The last rig I had the welder installed in did not come from the factory with A/C, so I had made brackets to mount the alternator where the compressor would go and ran it in conjuction with an unhooked stock alternator. If one were to fail, I could just plug in the other one and keep going. This came in handy on the last run when someone had an alternator go out and we were able to swap his for my extra one and keep wheeling. But...... this rig will have A/C!!! Didn't think to take any pics though.

The limiting factor continues to be power/gearing, not for long though.

My triple stick shifter came in today. This thing is slick, I can't wait to get it installed! Unfortunately, the auto adapter is on backorder, so it'll be at least a few more weeks.
