Well I got my headache yesterday. Thanks again RMA. The poor lady at the post office gave me this devastated look when she saw they were mine. And said something about them being so heavy. But my plans are to have the engine sitting in tonight. I'll post some pictures when I get home.

Hahahaha. I love to let the people complain at the post office. I figure, the more they vent, the less they shoot.

Grats on getting those parts! It always feels great to make progress.

Shaggy,
Did you install the body lift to help reduce clearance issues with the 1uz swap?

Yeah. I'm hanging the motor right now and looking at it if I didn't do the lift it wouldn't have worked I think. I went with a 3 inch because it was about 40 bucks less. I'll have pictures up tonight of the engine sitting in and my mounts me an my friend are making. Had to redo the hole setup coz the mounts I got. I think they will be stronger then the 3vz mounts as well.

i just gotta pull the mounts out one more time to clean up the rough tedges and paint them.

o and dunkin here is a pick for you on the inputshaft it sits just inside the crank.

yeah RMA i liked them because they are almost just like the oe lexus mounts. so i think they will hold up nice. and they are a rubber hydro mount so they will have some play but still be stiff at the same time.

yea this engine moves a bit with the 3.0 mounts .. mainly forward .. on both the maroon runner and my black one .. and the maroon runner has all new rubbers tranny and engine. still moves forward id say 1" more or less.

and this is only when slamming on the brakes and gassing it .. honestly not sure if thats supposed to be normal or not , just doesnt look right .

I know the feeling man! Looking great!

I'm curious, why didn't you just use the original Lexus aluminum bracket and rubber mount? Now that I see what you did there, it looks easy...

Thanks for the input shaft pic, that makes me feel better about my spacing. Which flywheel are you using again?

It's the 3.0 flywheel.
And I wanted to use the factory engine mounts and perches but Lexus mounts are not cheap. And as for the perches I was going to use them but if u look at the mounts sitting on my box u can see they are not the same as each other. The same part number I just happen to get two that were made by two different suppliers. One of them has shorter studs. It wouldn't fit. So what I did was mimic the angles of the aluminum ones and made them. It all worked in the end kit took a little longer.

Sorry, if I already asked this guys. I have so many different things that have come up and I want to cover all my bases.

Does the stock clutch fork fit the ks racing bell housing? I emailed them and asked for measurements of the fork but have not gotten a response. I plan on ordering the kit this weekend and don't want to have to order the whole things since I plan on doing what shaggy has done and using my stock 3.0 flywheel once it is machined and buying the marlin 2100 lb clutch kit. I am thinking this should save me some money as long as the fork fits and I don't need their fork because it has some weird lengh to what not to it.

yeah the fork fits with some adjustment to the pivot ball. but the only way you wont save money is if having ur flywheel milled is more then 150 i think because the flywheel on its owne from ks is 170ish
