What are you putting in the back?

Was the carpet hard to get out?

Rear main seal starting leaking so I pulled the transmission out with the aid of a friend. Went really smooth but from what I hear its the reinstallation that is a pain.
Trans out. Will be getting a new throw out bearing since my buddy gave me a new one for free

Front drive line, crossmember, front sway bar and exhaust down pipe

Rear Driveline just hangin out

Not yet, my rear main went on the day I was planning the rear lift so now Im doing trans first, lift next.Having the tranny out makes it easier to put in the front diff. drop bracket so no complaints about that

Can't beat 250 dollars for a running car...

ODD TWIST OF FATE!
So the people I originally traded my CRX to for this 4runner just contacted me and I just traded this camry for my CRX back. I bought the crx for myself as a high school graduation present. So happy to have my Honda back!

Start digging for a parts rig. You can find steals if you do, chances are any part you need he would also.

I got one for $150 and another for $450.

When I don't live in such a remote town anymore I'll be trolling auctions for a 3.4 or perhaps something newer to go in my 2nd Gen. Then I'll sell what I can't use.

Good luck!

Oh and digital, nice find. Does it run? I plan on stripping my 2nd Gen parts rig to the frame. Rebuild my suspension ground up then swap the body over.

What are your plans?

Also cheap tip for your rear lift. Get a panhard drop bracket from 4Crawler. My lift pushed my axle to the passenger side and the body leaned to the passenger side. It also bent my sway bar links and my driveshaft was really close to the fuel tank at full droop. It helps fix the geometry a bit.

Looks good!

What are your plans?

Having a parts rig is ESSENTIAL in this game!
I helped a friend do a 3.4l swap into our gen 4runner, such a great improvement! Very spendy but very worth it if you already have the lift and tires and gearing and such. If he would have bought a parts runner to start out with he would have saved MAJOR CASH!

The parts rig doesnt run, its vapor locked (supposedly,I think if i pulled the plugs and turned it over it would fire but havent got a shot at it) Good for interior, shell, trans, bumper, mudflaps and such. Im in Eugene and I can get you any part you need, 4.10 gearing auto trans, grey interior.

I will be getting a 6 inch panhard drop bracket when my check comes in. The angle on it is absurd! ()/()

Plans:
Stop oil leaks (oil breather valve, oil pan, valve cover gasket)
Rear Main Seal
2.5" body lift to clear future 3.4l swap
35x12.5x18 Tires
5.29 Gearing
Flowmaster 40 Series
